LIFE – ITS MALADIES

Betwixt joy and grief
The maladies of life,
Time and again crisscross
And impart us, ‘what life is’.

Yes, though at times …
We endorse life’s rhymes;
Caught in the webs of world
We ignore them in the blind.

Across the paths of life ….
We face many a joy and grief;
While senses run after desires
We view for selfish glories.

A funeral march we come across
A marriage band we crisscross,
Someone grieves over a death
Someone dances on love and faith.

Betwixt the shores of joy and grief
Life shuttles, without any relief,
These are but life’s disorders
On whom does the life shoulder?
